Governance and Institutional Development - Board Member

Dr.Hala Elminiawi

Dr Hala ElMiniawi is a Management Consultant and Human Intelligence Expert with over 30 years of experience advising governments and complex organisations on workforce transformation, digital public services, and operational excellence.

Dr Hala ElMiniawi is a Management Consultant and Human Intelligence Expert bringing over three decades of leadership experience in organisational development and sustainability. She advises governments and complex institutions on workforce transformation, enterprise risk, and the digital transformation of public services. Her primary focus is modernising public administration by designing robust HR architecture—including job design, KPI frameworks, and talent systems—while applying strategic foresight and integrating artificial intelligence into modern management.

Her practice is defined by high-impact delivery across the Gulf, Africa, and Asia. Her foundational work with the UAE Ministry of Education drove the introduction of learning technology across the sector, earning her the UAE Award for Performance Excellence. She has since designed and implemented institutional systems for prominent entities including the UAE Space Agency, the Ministries of Economy and Defence, the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Dubai and Abu Dhabi Customs, and the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, alongside delivering executive programmes in Singapore and South Africa.

Beyond organisational transformation, Dr ElMiniawi is an expert in governance, proactive crisis management, and energy conservation. She serves as the Regional President of the World Federation for Innovation, Culture and Development and is a visiting lecturer at Marconi University, Italy. An accomplished author of several books, her extensive contributions to public service, leadership, and literature have been globally recognised with honours such as the Peacemakers Award, the Intercultural Ambassador Award, the Umanità Literature Award, and the Golden Emblem of the Red Cross of North Macedonia.

Bola Asiru

Bola Asiru is a global business and innovation leader with more than 20 years of experience working with multinational organisations. He currently serves as Global Vice President for Innovation & Transformation Products at Mastercard and is an Advisory Board Member at London Intercultural Centre.

Bola Asiru is an accomplished business development, strategy, and innovation executive with over two decades of international experience across financial services, consulting, and technology. He currently serves as Global Vice President for Innovation & Transformation Products at Mastercard, where he drives product growth and consulting initiatives across multiple regions worldwide.

Prior to Mastercard, Bola held senior leadership positions at Deloitte, Barclays, Credit Suisse, and Legal & General. He previously led Deloitte’s financial services consulting practice in West Africa and served in several strategic roles focused on transformation and business growth.

Beyond the corporate world, Bola is a passionate advocate for the arts and cross-cultural exchange. He is the founder of Red Door Gallery in Lagos and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). His belief in the power of culture and creativity aligns closely with his work as an Advisory Board Member at London Intercultural Centre, where he contributes strategic insight to initiatives that promote intercultural understanding and global collaboration.

He holds an MSc in Information Systems from the London School of Economics and a postgraduate management qualification from Harvard University.

Liu Liu

Liu Liu is an international development executive and cross-cultural leadership practitioner with over 25 years' experience building and leading teams across 50 countries.

Liu Liu is an international development executive and cross-cultural leadership practitioner with over 25 years’ experience building and leading teams across 50 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. He currently leads an over £12m global programme portfolio spanning 40 plus countries at Tearfund UK, and has spent his career translating between organisational cultures — from grassroots partner organisations across the Global South to a UK-headquartered international NGO.

Liu Liu’s cross-cultural expertise runs in both directions. Raised and educated in China, he began his career at Yunnan University’s Chinese Centre for Foreign Students, where he was part of the leadership team that grew international enrolment from under 100 to over 240 students from 24 countries. He has since led a scoping and consultation mission to China on behalf of Tearfund’s international leadership, engaging directly with Chinese organisations and government counterparts. Since relocating to the UK in 1999, he has built a 25-year career within a European organisational context — giving him a rare, lived understanding of where Chinese and Western working cultures align, and where they most often clash.

He has designed and delivered training and learning-exchange programmes across more than 35 countries, and has written on cross-cultural intelligence for managers, exploring how leaders build trust and effectiveness across cultural difference. He currently serves as a Board Member of the London Intercultural Centre, and Care For Children, an international organisation place orphans into family care.

Liu Liu is well placed to design and deliver practical, experience-based training that helps Chinese organisations and their teams navigate European working culture with confidence — combining genuine cultural fluency in both directions with two decades of international leadership and hands-on training delivery.

Sekayi Mutambirwa

Sekayi Mutambirwa is a technology entrepreneur, investor, and innovation leader with extensive experience supporting startups and emerging technologies across fintech, blockchain, and Web3 sectors.

Sekayi Mutambirwa is a technology entrepreneur and innovation advocate with a strong track record in the fintech, blockchain, and Web3 ecosystems. Since 2013, she has been actively involved in mentoring founders, angel investing, and supporting startups through accelerator programmes designed to help businesses become investment-ready.

In addition to her work with early-stage companies, Sekayi serves as a Venture Partner focused on technology investments and contributes to enterprise and innovation initiatives within the United Kingdom. She has played a role in supporting scale-ups, fostering economic growth, and encouraging innovation-driven job creation.

Her experience also includes advising fintech startups and technology-enabled businesses, where she provides strategic guidance on growth, innovation, and ecosystem development. As a Board Member at London Intercultural Centre, Sekayi brings an entrepreneurial perspective to conversations around global collaboration, technology, and the future of work.

Passionate about empowering founders and building bridges between innovation and impact, she believes that diverse perspectives and cross-sector collaboration are essential for creating sustainable growth in a rapidly changing world.

Ozan Ozsavasci

Ozan Ozsavasci is a senior commercial leader with more than 25 years of international experience across sales, marketing, and business operations. He has led growth initiatives across EMEA and brings extensive expertise in commercial strategy, leadership, and market expansion.

Ozan Ozsavasci is an international business leader with over 25 years of experience driving commercial growth, market expansion, and organisational performance across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Throughout his career, he has led regional strategies across more than 20 countries, working in highly competitive and culturally diverse markets.

During his time at Herbalife, Ozan held senior regional leadership positions responsible for business development and growth across Eastern Europe and Africa. His work focused on strategic alignment, performance improvement, and coordinating operations across multiple markets.

Earlier in his career, he held several leadership roles at 3M, eventually becoming Country Business Leader for the Healthcare Division in Turkey, where he managed cross-functional teams and commercial operations.

Ozan’s expertise includes commercial strategy, stakeholder engagement, leadership under growth pressure, and performance management across international teams. His experience combining global vision with local execution enables organisations to scale effectively while navigating complex market environments.

Hadi Brenjekjy

Hadi Brenjekjy is a business psychologist with over 15 years of experience working across culture, leadership, and organisational development.

Organisational psychologist and strategic adviser. His research focuses on inclusive leadership and organisational culture in cross-cultural settings, with contributions to UNESCO policy on inclusive leadership. His practice is grounded in a decade working across institutional and commercial environments in the Gulf – in asset management, operations, and international events, followed by his current work designing and delivering executive programmes for multinational institutions and governments.

He works with C-level leaders and teams across EMEA and Asia on organisational culture, leadership psychology, and the management of multicultural organisations.

He is Strategic Lead at the London Intercultural Academy and Board Member at the London Intercultural Centre.

Nicole Irene

Nicole Irene is a team leadership professional with more than 15 years of experience across the Energy, Metals & Mining, and business consultancy sectors. Nicole combines commercial expertise with a passion for intercultural understanding and inclusion.

With over a decade of experience in sales, account management, and business development, Nicole has worked across industries including Energy, Metals & Mining, and professional services.

Prior to her work at LIC, Nicole served as an EMEA Regional Account Manager at ICIS, where she managed key accounts across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and developed strong expertise in relationship management, commercial growth, and international collaboration.

At London Intercultural Centre, Nicole plays a central role in operations, partnerships, and programme development. She is passionate about creating spaces where people from different backgrounds can connect, collaborate, and learn from one another. She has also contributed articles and represented LIC at international events promoting international relations and dialogue.

Nicole was recognised with a Women in Sales Award, reflecting her commitment to excellence and leadership in the commercial sector. Her approach combines strategic thinking with empathy, helping organisations strengthen relationships and navigate increasingly diverse environments.

She believes that meaningful connections and cultural understanding are essential ingredients for successful organisations and stronger communities.
